Once again this event was free to the public, Many hundreds of spectators came through the show this year
A total of 240 koi were enteried this year, the quality of the koi was superb.
This year we had two judging teams of AKCA certified judges to include Dr. Art Lembke, Nickole Lembke, Debby Tibbets and Larry Gill.
Judging was "English Style" due to continued concern of disease problems that occurred summer of 1999 in the Western United States.
Mr. Norm Meck of San Diego was at the show to oversee and train our water quality team, this was an effort to continue to improve the quality of our show staff. Norm also presented a seminar open to all on Water Quality in your Pond.
This years event included many water garden exhibits and vendors. There were two large display ponds in the hall.
